emailed an invoice through xero saying we owed paypal money when you call the number, they say that you have called because of an invoice sent to you but cannot prove who they are

I received an email addressed to me thanking me for purchasing bitcoin which I haven't with an attachment of a supposed invoice and direct debiting from my account that same day. Then saying if I disagreed I could phone this number. The person who answered said the number was PayPal security however email never mentioned PayPal. I suggest don't phone them as they could collect your phone number...

Called 4 times in 2 hours. He hung up if I did not answer before 5 rings. Fourth call I warned him that he is a nuisances caller and I would report his number if he did not stop calling.

Said they were from the “department of foreign affairs”. Was suspicious at first, clicked 1 for English, and foreign language answered. Be wary.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is definitely another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

I am getting at least a dozen of these /day why can't this number be stricken off?????
