Second call tonight starting with 03 9125 First one left no message 9125 4037 This one was a call centre, I hung up as soon as I heard that garbled sound.
Tom from the concierge wine club calls constantly from this number and random other mobile phone numbers. The calls are usually between 6-730pm each night...
from Eastlink, message Toll payment process failed settle it before the due date to avoid penalties. Scam I haven't used any toll roads. I've had a number of these messages from different phone nos.
Called back. MS Lotteries. Assuming it was legit. I feel for them, but surely nobody gives their credit card info over the phone anymore (unless you've called them?)
Scammers pretending be vodafone. Had somehow hacked account and had many details of account but trying to get more under the guise of compensation for bad service. Sent a skype text and tried to hack phone. Vodadone confirmed it is not them.
Indian accent was hesitant to tell me company name he worked for but said something green survey. I said I keep getting this call and I’ve asked it to stop and he said another company is doing the same calls.
Missed call, but was converted to text which I can preview without opening “Deactivate in two hours. Query reason. Please press one for English, press two for Chines Optus telecom teaching.”” I blocked them.
This number has called 6 times this week. We are a Drug and alcohol counselling service. When we answer they just hang up....unfortunately we are not allowed to BLOCK calls
Didn't answer call, but when I rang back there was a computer generated voice saying "welcome to home saver". This is another scammer because there is no reference or website on the internet. Don't answer the call.
Staticky, indistinct, vaguely threatening; said I ought to know why Telstra was calling me (when I don't have much connection with them?!). Definitely suspect. Another dishonourable mention for this crowd.
So Some how they knew my facebook name which is not my actual name thank godness! left a voice mail asking twice if “facebook name” is this your number then hung up , was definitely a female unsure of ethnicity definitely a scam be very aware people.
Claimed to be from telstra. When i said my home internet wasn't with telstra they went on a speal about how my home wifi IP address has changed from private to public and they were calling to fix it.
Rang back this number in Moree NSW. rang my business line. Called back but got some Asian lady who would not tell me who they were… obviously a scam!! Just delete and block!
Man with a heavy accent purporting to be from Telstra called regarding my internet. When I stated that I don't have internet with Telstra, Patrick said, "Don't lie, you bitch". Promptly told him to go f*** himself and hung up.
Unusual number so didn't answer. On ew\\recall from an unlisted number I got a male AI voice asking me to hold. I waited 2 minutes and then hung up. some tech company that I couldn't get the name of.....foreign sounding.
I have had a couple of calls from this number in the past week. Every time the caller is so muffled they sound like they are talking through a pillow. I have told them they need to fix their phone system.
Scammers rude as claiming to be from Microsoft and trying to get into your computer and hack into your network, called me a b*tch we hung up then they rang back asking why we hung up on them
Said to be from Aussie Broadband that some one hacked my internet modem, i said I will call Aussie back on there public number and she said they won’t understand. Yeah sure scammer.
Fake ANZ Mastercard with a transaction to be cancelled. Trick Amazon into sending a One Time Access code to my phone and wanted to know it so they could bypass the security. DON'T EVER GIVE OUT CODE NUMBERS.
This call said he was from Visa verification service concerning a recent on-line purchase. First number looks fake for Melbourne. Second. Suspicious of so calle verifications from Visa when caller has Indian accent. Third he said my card was from a bank with which I do not have dealings. Last could not call him back-so number was fake
No message. Just a scam call from Thailand. Hope the scammer contracts cancer, f*cks off and dies. Getting too many calls from Thailand like this. Dont know or want to know anyone from that c*ntry
Received a text message from this number as follows: "[Telstra]:Your points expire today , redeem them now to avoid them expiring:https://telstra.pointdr.link/mypo." I presume that it is a scamming message.
Chinese scammer saying a visa has been revoked by immigration. IM not chinese or a migrant going through immigration . Weird im getting this again, i just changed my number and this number is exclusively for applying for jobs, and I have only applied for government jobs which I didn’t get. I feel like someone is selling information of applicants because the same thing happened about two years ago.
Said they were calling from Commonwealth Bank and that my card had been charged in California. Haven't been to Cali in 2 years & tried to get me to change my bank log in details.
Daily calls that phone flags as spam. For S's n giggles, I called number from another phone & got automated voice saying it's TAFE courses Aust. Interesting given I literally only did a general google search on courses which didn't require personal details..
I was left an automated voice message from this number and they claim to be from the immigration department regarding an important document. Hmmmm I was born here it’s such a scam they also spoke in Chinese and then in English in the voicemail this is a SCAM number!
A scam/phishing call with an automated voice saying they’re from ANZ and had received a transaction of something in the 2k range. I hung up mid-sentence. Not only do I not bank with ANZ but I can smell a scam from a mile away.
Said andrew.he called 30 mins prior on another mobile now calling agn after being refused booking.loads of posts from other escorts on Truecaller re this clown he is worst burger company as well.dont waste yr time ladies
This service can’t find many numbers, so I’m asking has anybody received this number it’s a Melbourne area code. I get so many from different states. Some from Sydney , NZ, Qld.. this number just tried to ring me twice.. Thankyou. 😁
They've called many times in the past they call themselves Apple marketing but they are just scammers. Why did the mistake of returning their call years ago and got the long-winded charity speech. Be aware they do change their number.
Some Indian beanhead prattling on about some holiday scan, obviously they want the victim's credit card details so they can carry out their scam. Hung up on the bastard.
Text message with following link supposedly from Telstra advising my telstra points, which I don't think I have, are about to expire ! https://telstra.pointstf.services/mypo
Thank goodness I have do not disturb set, with exceptions for my contacts only. Bless my phone, it has constantly had to mark this as spam. The calls come constantly, and right into the night. I am seriously going to see if an official complaint can be made against this company, it is harassment big time.
Received a call from Michelle at Solar Australia - cold calling mobile numbers - they think they are calling home owners but they are also calling random mobile numbers that belong to businesses.
It's Lacey from HomeFirst Services! Winter is arriving soon, so if you haven't already taken advantage of our whole home safety inspection, call us on (08) 7094 0010 to ensure your home is ready to take on the winter chill.

Scam message supposedly from linkt toll roads sent at 1:45 am. The link to willingly donate is and funds is blocked. Very amateur effort. I rate it 1/10

Got a text saying my phone has been updated and need to call 132221 immediately. I think it’s a scam and they make the text look legit by providing real commbank number hoping you would call the same number back.
0488 829 283 — I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know and from people/groups I’m not expecting. Have had 2 calls from them now and they haven’t left a voice message. Blocked now
Guy called from the NBN Comparison Team, trying to book in a "specialist" to get a cheaper price for NBN. Didn't know anything about the place they were calling or even know what our NBN plan was or what deal we have, they just kept telling me "the specialist will get you better price". I just tried to keep them on the line for a while to waste some of their time.
emailed an invoice through xero saying we owed paypal money when you call the number, they say that you have called because of an invoice sent to you but cannot prove who they are
email from "Paypal" about a McAfee fee for $640 that was charged to my account, giving me 24 hours to dispute it. Scam written all over it. Gave (02) 8003 3674 as the number to call. So I did. Indian accent (what a surprise) and wanted me to download Anydesk. This is where they will access your computer and mock up a "refund" of $6400, or $64000, then try to get you pay them back the...
I have all unknown numbers immediately silenced so until my ring doorbell picked up that someone had dropped off a package. I wasn’t aware I’d had a missed call. No Voicemail was left. When I went to the front door to collect my Amazon parcel which I could see in the ring doorbell video it was the guy had then come back to the door. He was unsure of where he was delivering to. He says it was a...
I received an email addressed to me thanking me for purchasing bitcoin which I haven't with an attachment of a supposed invoice and direct debiting from my account that same day. Then saying if I disagreed I could phone this number. The person who answered said the number was PayPal security however email never mentioned PayPal. I suggest don't phone them as they could collect your phone number...
Called 4 times in 2 hours. He hung up if I did not answer before 5 rings. Fourth call I warned him that he is a nuisances caller and I would report his number if he did not stop calling.
Beware of this unlisted number as it is definitely another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.
received call on this number, no message left. When I tried to call it back get message that number not connected. Samsung phone flagged as a possible scam call
(03) 9622 2408 This number called multiple times on a day I have a loved one in surgery to annoy me and when I told them they were being a nuisance , the lady called me a arsehole and a bitch when they’re calling me out of the blue multiple times a day
Call from Immigration Dept. with Chinese accent stating I have documents, and that they have contacted me on numerous occasions; Press 1 for Chinese; Press 2 for English etc. BEWARE! This is obviously a Scam, so press nothing!
Rang asking after my old married name which I haven’t used for about 8 years, I asked them who I was speaking with and then just repeated my name so I hung up
These people are not real callers. Otherwise they would stay on the line till someone answered or leave a message when it goes to messagebank... So their autodial computer cant really tell things like that. Yet another spoofed number from a suspected scammer. Has a telco in France according to Mr Google. Instagram photos/videos come up in my search of the number. Just another number never to be...
Regular trick the scammers use now is to use a "Ghost caller ID".. They will hide their real number behind a legit Australian number.. when people call back they get the real owner and not the scammers.. I have seen this happen to many legit businesses in Australia where their numbers are tagged as scam after being subjected to this kind of attack.. :(
got email from thiaylange @ gmail.com but claiming to be Mcafee stating my virus protection has been renewed & to call (02) 8091 1249 for any enquiries. Well for a start i dont use Mcafee & there has been no charge to any of my bank accounts. the email was addressed to my email address & not my name. i have tried to find a phone number for mcafee in Australia but cant find any. Surely a scam here...
Don’t trust this vermin called Daniel E Stream with ph number 0422 239 161 He advertises on Gum tree and when you pay him in full ,he gives a bogus tracking number only for the goods to be returned to him and he ends up with your money and the item you’ve purchased. Be nice to see him as a rotting corpse somewhere.
The reason I picked it up because it showed true id is ANZ on my iPhone. A lady said my name but messed up the surname and first name, saying I purchased 7 guns by my credit card. This made me very concerned, because I don’t have a f**king credit card with ANZ! LOL
No message left. When I returned call with Caller ID deactivated it rang a couple of times, an automated female voice answered saying “one moment” then it rang again before the call was picked up announcing I’d called “Compare Your Energy”. Hung up and blocked number.
They are breaking The Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act) by giving our others peoples information or asking for another persons information. If you answer, simply say “you will be reported for breaking the PPIP act of 1998 if this phone call continues”
Answered to this number and said they were from "telstra" confirming internet is down and checking in.... and i told him sorry cant hear you and they hung up lol ... called back and number not valid
claimed to be a charity for urcommunity looking for donation. I do not give them my financial info over the phone. Went on line to check, totally different thing. Be aware.
This phone number is used as part of a PayPal scam message, where they claim you have made some payment, and to call this number if you want to cancel. Definitely a scam.
This number has tried on three different occasions over the last 2 days but not left a message - I suspect a scammer. I figure they will leave a voicemail if it's a genuine caller
Called twice last night 7:07pm and 6:21pm. Did not leave a message. I disguised my number later and called back few times. The number remains engaged. I am putting this one down to scam.
We are a business and he has called multiple times over a few day with very sexual language. I think he is a bit NQR eventually when you tell him off he stops calling.
Rings, doesn't leave a message. Definitely a scam call as when i call back it simply says, leave a message. There is no Identification of which company they represent. BEWARE!
Supposedly from Telstra telling my points are going to expire. Wants to send me to the following website: https://telstra.pointsgi.services/mypo - sorry but despite the https I don't trust the message
They called my mobile, phone said suspected scam so I didn't answer. When I called back to see who it was, their answer was "Hi is this (my name). I asked who they were, I think they said something like Equity Advice but not sure. Told them I'm not interested and hung up. Have blocked the number.
I said hello three times before they responded and I don’t know where the accent was from but the background sounded busy like a call Center, said they are offering a free smartphone and I put the phone down
This number was an automated service purported to be from CommBank, requesting personal details including name verification, DOB. Under no circumstances was I prepared to provide this data to this unsolicited number, When are Telcos going to do more to prevent this?
Pretends to be from McAfee (as a g-mail saying protection service has been purchased) but has sender name Valerie Diaz (with Prasad Naidu in the background). Ring this above number if it's incorrect. Don't ring the number! It's a scam.
Also received a text message from 0438 016 983 that said "Hi {my name}, could you please contact Angel on (08) 6214 2268 in relation to Tanya. Thank you". I have no idea who it is they are talking about or who it is from (surely they could put a sign off with their name or company and it was sent to my personal mobile so if its to do with work I don't know how they got my number. If they really...
Scam text: “ Urgent: Automatic deduction of your transportation fees has failed. Please make the payment as soon as possible.” Provided link for payment. BLOCK and DELETE
Probably a spoofed number, but was a notification for setting up direct debit for tolls. I haven’t been on a road that requires tolls in YEARS (and have no intention of doing so any time soon), nor do I own a e-tag.
Another scam message: "[Telstra] Your points will be forfeited soon...blah blah blah" Has anyone else noticing the scam messages been lacklustre lately? Most likely reflecting the intelligence of the scammers eh?
Beware of a well spoken scammer with a British accent, called himself Jason Steele, claimed to be an employee of Bendigo Bank’s ‘Fraud Prevention Department’. Also used this phone number to contact us: (02) 8005 7906
Roy Morgan called me for a 30 min survey last night, I said no, they suggested I choose a time for the survey, I answered their questions and now they offer $100 e-voucher and will be entered into $2000 prize draw. Seems like a scam to me. Shame I gave them DOB and ph. No. No doubt they’ll do their best to extract whatever they can with that info. They asked about political views, basic bank...
I received the same voicemail as Daniel who posted on March 28 2024. The female caller used a shortened version of my name that no one has called me for over 20 years. Having seen Daniel’s post I didn’t return the call.
This number under the name Daniel has been calling my number first with an unknown landline which I initially answered but now has a name and this time tried with mobile number.
SCAMMER - Another in the daily series of random calls from NZ. Block each one and they call the next day from a new number. Must be a big scammer business. In the past, when I have called back the calls never connect.
Answered the call coming from Melbourne, yelled at me in another language and hung up. Phoned it back and the lady said thankyou for returning the call it would have been one of her colleagues that tried to call me, um no same voice, stated that the person yelled through the phone in another language, I asked where she was calling from, she said some health insurance company, I told her to f*ck...
Credit Corp Solutions, debt collectors engaged by financial companies, such as banks and so forth.Obtaining numbers and breaching so many laws by calling people and getting information illegally
This gentleman from Punjabi claimed he represented Amazon and that my parcel would not be delivered without an online paymentTold him to f*ck off and die as soon as he started with the bullsh*t. When he tried to retaliate, I added i hoped he and his family get f*cked over badly. Low life scum!!!
BE VERY VERY CAREFUL about the phone call from this company, I believe they use fake names to promote their products! Even you don't need their products at all. They will deliver the items you don't need anyway. And then, endless phone call for the payment about these garbage items. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!
Think it was Telstra but it was impossible to understand what she said. Not a single word was decipherable when I played the message that was left Also don't understand how they can now call me when they told me last night they could not help me sort out my elderly father's loss of internet for 10 straight days and counting despite me being an authority on his account
Can confirm it is genuine call. Got multiple calls from the remediation team who left their number 1300 130 866 in the voicemail. Searched it up online and it appeared on their public website. Decided to call through and the team was lovely and I found out I had money owing to me which I have now received. Thanks for getting money back to your customers :)
Repeated messages from this number telling me 3022 Coles points are due to expire (I don't have Coles points) and to login to a provided link to redeem.
It same number as everyone here says is rac. I use to have annual car maintenance with them ,but last time had very negative experience when I arrived at reception desk. I had booked online and receptionist said they were over booked n that I shouldn't have booked online. So I said ok I'll leave it. I wasn't offered another time so just walked out. Obviously a problem with their online booking...
This number called me two days in a row. No message was left, I looked up the number on reverseaustralia.com and landed here. Thanks to all who have posted and alerted me and others.
I called back hiding my number and said I just received a missed call from this number. A young woman said yes I don’t think that it was from me, a bunch of people seem to be saying that they received a call from this number.
Number probably being spoofed by hacker pretending to be from Microsoft. Popup on screen warns of being hacked - call Microsoft on this number. Call redirects to another number where a "technician" will ask to access your PC and have a good look around! Unfortunately one of our staff fell for this earlier today.
Constant calls from (07) 3077 9954, (07) 3077 9933, (07) 3077 9930, (07) 3088 8846. Spoke to a couple of the callers, but the rest hung up. Asked if they provided all the necessary information regarding investments to me previously.

Received text messages of missed call from this number. Called back on private number and a woman answered casually saying "hello?" to which I asked with whom I was speaking to. She clicked into what appeared to be a 'scripted sales mode" and claimed to be from AGL and letting me know it was a courtesy call and I was eligible for a discount plan - I refused to give my details and she was polite...
Asked me if I was "Mrs (add partners last name) I said wasn't me as we aren't married. And they said they must have got wrong number. Didn't find out who it was but obviously sales
Someone from some Super company telling me they had a case assigned to them and they were actioning a super review instead of my super being on "auto pilot". Explained my super is not on auto pilot and I'm happy with my current super, their attitude quickly changed, and they condescendingly asked if I had ever reviewed it so I hung up.
robot (female) voice message saying there's errors in my reported passport information and I should contact them asap, then presumable the same message is left in Chinese(?) Mandarin.... yeah right, like I'm gullible, and I'm going to get right on that!!
I answered this number in error today - I have seen it half a dozen times in the last week - normally I do not answer. This time I did in error - but the caller had already disconnected - nobody there!
Called yesterday and today. I answered both times- it sounded like a recording was going to play and then the phone call dropped. Can’t verify its a scam, but given the other comments it definitely could be.
"Brenda" ( Australian/ English accent) claiming to be from ANZ bank about a suspicious transaction on my account. I have no accounts with ANZ , especially a branch in Thailand. I've received other calls from SE Asian country codes but have ignored these.
This morning I received a bogus email from " mark angelas" with this particular contact number ((02) 8005 7646). Attached to email was PDF Invoice for $739.00 for bitcoin purchase indicating my Paypal account will be debited on the 9/5. Alerted Paypal. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER !!
Coles reward text message phishing scam. Offers a list of reward products equalling points plus $1-$1.30 payment for soon to expire coles rewards points. Looks genuine and pay the $1-1.30 with your bank card details plus cvc and email, phone number and street address.
No message left. When called back, a r corded message stated it's from RFS asking obviously for donations. I really appreciate the work they do but unfortunately if I was to donate to everybody that asks me for donations, I wouldn't be able to live myself particularly with the cost of life ving the way it is now
Received call from Indian man claiming to be from the Victorian Business Development office. Asked if we had moved or were still looking to move. I told him we weren't moving and he hung up on me.
Text msg received: To confirm the Pay Anyone for $1,200 to SIMON WALTER your one time passcode is 783669. To STOP this call us on (03) 7065 5993".
Called that number and auto machine saying "NAB bank", giving me options 1,2,3 to seclect. I didn't select any option but still after less than 5 seconds, a guy named Ali from "bank security department" take on the call. I hang up because I don't...
they called and asked for the owner of the business i said i could pass a message to them she said she would call back later and called literally a minute later
Missed the call with no voicemail left. Called back and the answering message did not announced the business name I was calling back and inform me that one of their agent would be with me soon. Obvious scam to hook me on the line. Blocked the number to be safe!
Definite scamme, unknown number, left a message saying had issues with my passport and some details were incorrect. I had just got back from overseas so know this to be untrue.
