Recorded message saying it is the "security department" of visa and mastercard phoning about 3 overseas payments, two small amounts and another of over $1000 with instructions to press 1 for further instructions. Hung up and checked with my bank. No such payments had been withdrawn from my Visa account.

To say nothing of the fact that they will be skimming a percentage off any donation made... I got the same message as the others here, I called IMB to report it and they told me that it was legitimate, they do send this SMS out when they have suspicious activity. I gave them feedback that they might want to re-think this method of communication, as a few people had already reported them as a scam.

Recorded message saying ANZ was calling about a transaction. Then an Indian guy got on the line and said he was from Mastercard / visa (they are separate companies) and told me I had a transaction from California. Wanted me to login and give him my IP address. The daily scammer call from a NZ mobile number. Block each daily call yet they still keep calling from a different number. This one at 6:30 pm.
Must be a big scammer organisation.

Called middle of night. Four times in quick succession. No message

Landline call that I didn't answer as it was a person unknown. Very much the same message I've received from a few different landline numbers over the last couple of weeks, in American English and what sounds like Chinese. I'm so sick of these constant calls, all unsolicited, they make you hate the phone!!

Used as a Testing number to try mobiles to see if they are active. Scanner will call from a different number in 2 or 3 days if the call was answered or went to voicemail

Called at 6.55pm but hung up as soon as I answered

I missed a call on my mobile. from this number at 6.38pm. My caller list said the location was Bullio, NSW, which is past the Wollondilly Lookout and west along Wombeyan Caves Road but before a place called Roxbury Farm (as per Google Maps). I'd say it's a fairly isolated area. I do now know anyone from this area.

Someone saying they are calling from ABS - sure - at 6.30pm at night - with Hindi being spoken in the background. Caller had a thick Indian accent, with an Anglo name.

Robo call. On call back you get an automated robot message telling you that your call is very important please stay on the line.
