The phone number (02) 8006 7792 was included as part of an attempted email scam using PayPal. The scam also used the name Amanda Fayette and AUS_DIGITAL_SELLER, which are both reported as used as part scams.

A male called me for an unknown reason (I didn't give him the chance to say). He called me "Janice" which is not my name and said that I requested a call back. When I said I am not Janice, he hung up promptly.

Definitely one to avoid for your life. Narcissistic. Nutcase with mental.health issues. Convicted criminal

I tried calling back and the woman, said she knew nothing about it, then a gruff sounding man took the phone and said I 'got the number wrong' and hung up. I didn't. Asks about X person and that she is trying to get into contact with them. Will not say what she is calling about or who she works for, when pushed she hides behind "confidentiality".

If you can't give a reason for calling, obviously isn't important.

Like others who have complained here, I regularly receive calls from this number.
Perhaps the best way to stop their calls is to answer and inform them that due to the nuisance nature of relentless calls from this company, you will be using another provider such as Specsavers in future. They may get the message and stop calling people.

Like others, I had a call from this number trying to sell me Solar Panels. I asked how he got my number and he tried to say that we spoke a month ago (we didn't) and that I requested that he call me to provide a quote (I did not such thing).

When I asked what company he worked for he refused to answer and kept asking why I no longer want the quote.

I just hung up. Will submit via scamwatch.
